Filter Workshop media processing application interface

An interface for image-processing workflows

Filter Workshop brings media-processing algorithms into a desktop interface. The goal is to make filter selection, ordering, parameter adjustment, and export part of one understandable workflow.

My contribution

  • Independently developed the cross-platform GUI in PyQt6, with OpenCV and NumPy for image and video processing.
  • Integrated more than ten traditional visual filters and four ONNX Runtime-based AI style-transfer models.
  • Used worker threads and custom signal/slot handling to keep the interface responsive during video processing.
  • Added drag-and-drop filter sequencing, parameter controls, and configuration import/export.

From implementation to delivery

The supplied portfolio records development and delivery during a software-engineering internship at Shanghai Turing Manufacturing Robotics. This project reflects my interest in the practical details that make algorithms usable: interaction design, responsiveness, and reliable file handling.
